There is a Myriad of Voice Demo Production Services out there. Why use me?
Well for starters, the very first step in the process is for ME to listen to YOU! Let's start with a chat about your voice, where you're at in your career, and the work you'd like to get from your new demo.
Then, I will use my 35 years of experience gained from working with some of the biggest Advertising Agencies and Media Outlets here in Australia and around the globe to craft scripts that will let you deliver reads that people will believe and HIRE!
I will personally guide you through every step, and at each stage, you will have a chance to give feedback and review where we're at.

Why Me?
The Process:
Of course, every Demo is different, but the PROCESS remains the same. It is the same one I have used for clients such as Ian "Lofty" Fulton, Colin Day, Matt Cowlrick, Andrew Peters and many more. It's proven, it's thorough and the results (just check out those guys' resumes) speak for themselves...
1. Once you have booked your Demo, we will arrange a time for a 1-hour chat. During this time I will get to know you, your voice, your strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly, we will chat about who will be listening to this demo, and what you want from them once they have. I will also get you to provide me with some of your recent work that you would like me to use as a basis for the scrits that come next.
2. Now... the scripts. I will write 6 to 10 scripts (depending on what we have discussed previously) that suit both the style, delivery and format of the work you are chasing.
3. Back onto ZOOM for a 30-minute call to go over the scripts, and discuss styles, recording techniques and any changes.
4. Time to record. We have 2 hours set aside for this most important part of the process, so no need to rush. We will work together to come up with the best possible reads for each script. If you can't be here in person we can use Source Connect or whatever remote application you have. We can discuss how this works in more detail at the time.
5. Time for some studio magic. Your voiceovers will be processed mixed and mastered to the same quality standards that I use every day for my agency and media clients. I will then cherry-pick the best bits of each spot to produce your final demo.
6. Back to you to take a listen and make any changes you think necessary (up to one hour of studio time), We can catch up and discuss these if you would like a second opinion, or you can just email me your changes which I will implement. We can also re-record any pickups you may like in that time as well.
7. Once your changes are made I will create a final mix of your demo plus all the separate tracks and deliver to you the following...

Each individual spot in mp3 format for you to use on your website or socials as you see fit.

What is a voice over demo, and why should I have one?"Think of it as your audio version of a resume. A good Demo will showcase you doing your very best voice work. Ideally it will be professionally directed, recorded and produced, and will consist of various short clips that feature you doing the various styles of vocal delivery that you would like to showcase. You'll need a demo to show off your skills, sound, vocal range and style in order for an agent or potential client to hear what you can do with your voice. Do I need to be in Australia /Sydney to do my Demo with you?In short NO! Absolutely not. Voodoo Sound works with voice talent and clients from all over the world. If you have a broadcast quality home studio, you can record from there and we will connect over Source Connect, iPdTL Skype, Zoom, Phone, you name it. Alternatively, you can book a couple of hours at a studio near you and we will patch into them, leaving you free to worry about the reads. Either way, it will sound great.
